The Brandenburg Gate at night
Dear readers, allow me to introduce myself. I am Duna, Lala’s sister. Yes, this means I was the one to bestow the name “Lala” upon her, for the same reason that I bestowed the name “Duna” upon myself: namely, that as a young child I was unable to pronounce either of our names correctly.
Now I have grown up a bit, and learned not only how pronounce our names correctly, but also how to speak a couple of other languages. One of them is German, which comes in quite handy because at the moment I am living in Berlin. As mentioned in Lala’s previous posting, for the next ten days or so, while Lala silently meditates, I will be blogging to you all from this capital of Germany – a city characterized by its diverse architecture, out-of-control clubs, hidden restaurants, masses of boutiques, island full of museums, seemingly innumerable up-and-coming artists of all sorts, ubiquitous bike lanes, international population, staggeringly high unemployment rate, cheap real estate, Turkish markets and much, much more…
