Bainbridge island is just a short ferry hop from downtown Seattle but it’s a world a way in terms of relaxation and peace. After a weekend with 32 adults and 32 kids in full adventure mode at Islandwood, Lala needs to hit some of her favorite spots on the island. Here is the what and why:
Bainbridge Bakers: fresh pies, rolls, croissant and breads…warm carb satisfaction.
Cafe Nola: for fresh island fare
Bloedel reserve: walk amid the glorious trees, flowers and ponds. relax with music on concert nights and dream away.
Kidmu: Let the kids run wild while expanding their brains. yes, it’s possible at Kidmu.

So glad Lala enjoyed her visit to Bloedel Reserve. We welcome families. Little children especially seem to love looking for frogs in our Bog, seeing their reflection in our Reflection Pool, and visiting the beautiful house that Mr. and Mrs. Bloedel lived in many years ago.
Please tell Lala to check our website for news of our enchanting Christmas village, with fully furnished scale-models of castles and houses of a French town from the 15th century.
