If Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren had a baby it would be the Washington School House Hotel. The latest piece of heaven to fall into the U.S. landed in Park City just in time for Sundance. Despite the endless parties and films you almost don’t want to leave your room! Lala can honestly say that the staff was one of the best she has encountered in her entire career. Seriously. The perfectly served breakfasts in front of a roaring fire under 16 ft. ceilings were magic. Want a massage? no problem. A res at any restaurant regardless of the extra 50,000 people that have taken over the town…no problem. An extra duffel that magically appears in your room when you have hit the gifting suites a little too hard…again, no problem. Luxuriate in your room, piled in white Pratesi linens, down feather bed and pillows. Have a drink in the chic ski lounge. There’s even a heated pool and spa tucked into the hillside surrounded by aspens, spruce and boulders. I almost want to write about this place all year long just to get your attention because the Washington School House certainly got mine. There are only 12 rooms inside this hideaway…but I’m telling you now…I may just take them all next year…but I can save you one if you ask nicely
